Sun City Roseville residents have at their disposal a wonderful Fitness Center. The main building is comprised of a Senior Olympic size indoor heated pool and spa, Weight Room, Aerobics and Dance Room, Massage Room, full Locker Room, and Snack Bar/Pro Shop. Membership to the Fitness Center is free to all residents and available to guests for a small fee.
The Weight Room boasts top-quality Life Fitness equipment, including treadmills, Lifecycles, cross-trainers, and stairmasters. Upon completing a one-hour orientation, residents receive a complimentary session with a personal trainer, who will design a program of exercise suited specifically to the individual's goals and abilities. Additional sessions are available at competitive rates.
There are group exercise classes, taught by friendly, knowledgeable instructors, in the well-appointed Aerobics Room. Group exercise classes, specialty classes, massage therapy, and personal training are available at reasonable rates. Residents may attend low impact aerobics, step aerobics, sports conditioning, tone & stretch, and yoga on a drop-in basis. Taiji is offered at a nominal charge.
The indoor pool and spa offer residents a convenient venue for lap swimming, water walking, water volleyball, and just relaxing. For those preferring a more structured workout, group exercise classes, sponsored by the popular Aqua Exercise Club, are available for an extremely reasonable fee.
The resort-like outdoor pool is surrounded by patio lounges, chairs, tables, and umbrellas. Sunbathers can cool off, read, visit with friends and neighbors, or catch a rejuvenating nap along side the 10th hole of the championship golf course.
Clubs have been formed for users of the Sports Courts who wish to enjoy their game in the company of other enthusiasts. Most clubs offer opportunities for friendly competition plus after-hours cocktail parties and barbeques, making sports a social, as well as a physical, outlet. In addition, there are open court times available to the occasional athlete, as well as to guests of Sun City residents.
Invigorating workouts can be capped off with a soothing, professional rubdown from our licensed and experienced massage therapists, who offer sessions right here in the Fitness Center.
